Red delicious apples from Austin Family Farm

…is what one of our team members said upon tasting the freshly-picked organic apples we just received from Austin Family Farm in Paonia, CO.  The apples were literally picked a few days ago and driven from the farm to our door by the farmer Glenn Austin himself.

These special apples are for members only and will be appearing in the co-op style produce shares over the next few weeks.  This weekend is Red Delicious.  There’s no one else in the state of Texas who has these apples right now!

And did you know you can split an apple in half with your bare hands?  Or so they say.  Guess we’re gonna need to keep practicing – farmers are strong!
